Wow… what a fun conversation I just had with a client.  We were finishing our weekly coaching session when he asked me about ‘what movies did I think were great motivators for sales and business’?

I had not given it much thought, but quickly suggested a standard set of movies:

1. Glengarry Glen Ross
2. Wall Street
3. Boiler Room
4. Tin Men, and
5. Door to Door

We discussed them for a few minutes covering the merits of each.

Having given more thought to subject, I would suggest that the following be added to that initial list:

1. Cadillac Man
2. Pursuit of Happiness
3. Dead Poets Society
4. Jerry McGuire
5. Apollo 13

While this is not a comprehensive list, I find that they highly instructive about the sales process and motivation.  Each one has its own message, and could be apart of any movie library on sales.  Over the next few days, I will also create my Top-10 sports movies.  Who knows what that list will contain.  Please feel free to suggest your own additions to the list.
