With 50 thousand different world history classes in American school, we can conclude that there could be 50 thousand different teaching and learning experiences. Even with identical lesson plans, identical textbooks, we also have 50 thousand different teachers with different skill sets and presentation styles.

It is impossible to make improvements that will have much impact. Production methods have show us that quality always goods up when variables go down. Education must employ a system of ‘Best Practices’ to insure higher quality teaching, learning and production.
